Police have recovered the body of an unidentified woman from the Liebenbergsvlei River outside Bohlokong in the Free State.
The body was retrieved by the Phuthaditjhaba Police Search and Rescue Diving Team on Thursday.
The deceased is estimated to be in her 20s.
Police spokesperson Mmako Mophiring says the woman was wearing blue tracksuit pants and a pink T-shirt when her body was recovered.
An inquest case has been opened to investigate the circumstances surrounding her death.
