DJ Sox is mourning the death of his 10-year-old son, Busa, who died on Sunday after battling severe pneumonia and spending two months in intensive care on life support.
The DJ shared the heartbreaking news in an emotional tribute, expressing his grief over the loss of his young son and the challenge of facing life without him.
Busa spent two months in hospital as doctors and nurses worked to save his life. Despite their efforts, the young boy died, leaving his parents devastated.
“My boy, you fought a good fight. You were so brave, and I am so proud of you,” Sox wrote.
The grieving father also spoke about the pain of knowing he would never hold his son again.
“No parent can ever be ready for the pain of losing a child so young. I miss you more than words can explain, and it hurts knowing I won’t get to hold you again,” he said.
Despite his loss, Sox said his faith in God remained a source of comfort as he tried to come to terms with Busa’s death.
“Even through this heartbreak, I trust God and His will, though I may not understand it,” he wrote, expressing his belief that his son was now resting in God’s arms.
The family was preparing to lay Busa to rest on Wednesday, with the DJ asking for strength to face the funeral and the difficult days ahead.
Sox also thanked friends and supporters who stood by him and his wife throughout their son’s illness, acknowledging the prayers, love and kindness they received during the difficult period.
He expressed his gratitude to the doctors who fought to save Busa’s life and the nurses who cared for him throughout his two-month stay in intensive care.
As the family navigates life without their son, Sox vowed to keep Busa’s memory alive, reflecting on the lasting bond between a parent and child.
“I love you, my boy. I’m going to miss you every day, and I will carry you in my heart for the rest of my life,” he wrote.
