The South African Weather Service has warned residents across parts of KwaZulu-Natal to prepare for further disruptive weather conditions, including damaging winds, rough seas and snowfall.
A Yellow Level 2 warning remains in effect along the KwaZulu-Natal coastline for damaging winds and waves. Waves of between four and six metres are expected, while wind gusts could reach up to 74 kilometres per hour.
Forecaster Wiseman Dlamini says the hazardous conditions could make navigation difficult and pose a significant risk to small vessels operating along the coast.
Meanwhile, south-western parts of the province remain under a Yellow Level 2 warning for disruptive snow.
Very cold and windy conditions are expected across the interior, with several areas at risk of receiving snowfall.
The areas that could experience snow include Kokstad, Mzimkhulu, Matatiele, Underberg, Giant's Castle, Royal Natal and possibly Bergville.
Residents in affected areas are urged to monitor weather updates and take necessary precautions as the adverse conditions continue.
