One person has died and four others have been injured following a head-on collision on the R102 near Nyoni.
IPSS Medical Rescue responded to reports of the crash, involving a bakkie and a light motor vehicle.
Paramedics found that two people had sustained minor injuries, while another two suffered serious injuries.
One of the seriously injured patients was stabilised at the scene before being transported to a nearby medical facility under the care of an IPSS Medical Rescue Advanced Life Support paramedic.
The remaining three injured patients were stabilised at the scene by Emergency Medical and Rescue Services (EMRS) paramedics before being taken to nearby healthcare facilities for further treatment.
One person sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was declared dead at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are not yet known, and investigations are expected to continue.
Condolences have been extended to the family and loved ones of the deceased.
