The Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg has postponed the pre-trial hearing of the two men accused of murdering media personality Warrick "DJ Warras" Stock to Monday, 27 July.
The matter was delayed after issues relating to the contents of the murder docket prevented the proceedings from continuing.
Stock was shot and killed in Johannesburg's city centre in December last year.
The alleged gunman, Mozambican national Armindo Pacula, appeared in court, while his co-accused, Victor Majola, who is accused of orchestrating the killing, was absent. His legal team told the court that his non-appearance was due to administrative issues involving prison authorities.
Both Pacula and Majola face charges of premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
Delivering the ruling, Judge William Karam said the pre-trial could not proceed because of outstanding issues concerning the contents of the docket.
The court also noted that a meeting between the State and legal representatives for the second accused is scheduled for next week to resolve the outstanding docket-related issues.
Judge Karam further indicated that when the matter returns to court on Monday, it is expected to be postponed for a further two weeks to allow time for issues relating to the funding of Majola's private legal representation to be addressed, subject to any submissions made by the accused.
Both accused remain in custody pending their next court appearance.
