The trial of Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla, daughter of former president Jacob Zuma, is set to continue on Tuesday at the Durban High Court.

Zuma-Sambudla faces charges of incitement to commit terrorism and incitement to commit public violence, relating to her social media activity during the July 2021 unrest.

A key aspect of the case centres on the interpretation of the phrase “We See You,” which she repeatedly posted on the social media platform X during the unrest.

On Monday, social media expert Emma Sadlier, who was commissioned by the Hawks to investigate Zuma-Sambudla’s online conduct, underwent cross-examination as proceedings continued.
