Two suspects were killed during a shootout with police in Inanda, authorities confirmed.
Police recovered two firearms at the scene. One of the deceased was reportedly wanted in connection with more than ten murder cases and is believed to have links to local gang activity in the area.
Officials said the operation targeted violent individuals who posed a threat to the community, and investigations into the circumstances of the confrontation are ongoing.
