The state will oppose bail for the second man charged in the murder of Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock, following the suspect’s first court appearance in Johannesburg.

Armindo Pacula, a 25-year-old Mozambican national, appeared at the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on Monday. He faces charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and contravening the Immigration Act.

Pacula was arrested over the weekend at an informal settlement in Primrose, east of Johannesburg. The case has been postponed to 9 February to allow authorities to verify his residential address and immigration status.

Stock, a well-known DJ and security company owner, was fatally shot in December outside a building in the Johannesburg Central Business District. At the time, his company had been contracted to provide security at the premises.
