Public Works Minister Dean Macpherson is expected to release a preliminary report into the investigation surrounding the collapse of the Verulam Temple.
The fatal incident claimed the lives of five men after a four-storey temple structure collapsed at the weekend. The bodies of four of the victims were recovered from the rubble and laid to rest on Tuesday. Arrangements for the fifth victim are yet to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, confirmed reports indicate that the construction of the building was illegal, raising serious concerns about compliance with building regulations and oversight.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances leading to the collapse, as calls grow for accountability and stricter enforcement of construction laws.
