Many residents across Johannesburg are still without water this morning following urgent repairs to the city’s F12/F39 bulk pipeline on Tuesday.
The unplanned maintenance work caused widespread water outages in several areas, including Soweto, Randburg, Roodepoort, and parts of Southern Johannesburg. The City has since deployed water tankers to affected communities as an interim measure.
While repairs have been completed, Johannesburg Water has warned that some areas may continue to experience low water pressure as the system gradually stabilises and supply is restored.
Officials have urged residents to use water sparingly during the recovery period and to report any further disruptions.
