Flash floods have been reported in Weltevreden Park, Strubens Valley, Newlands, Parkhurst, and Randpark Ridge, with emergency services responding to numerous incidents.
Johannesburg Emergency Services spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi urged motorists to exercise caution on the roads, as water levels remain dangerously high in some areas.
Authorities are monitoring the situation closely, and residents are advised to avoid flooded areas and report emergencies promptly.
