Several schoolchildren were injured in a serious taxi crash on Tuesday morning in Bluff, south of Durban.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Marine Drive and Blackpool Road when the taxi transporting the children to school collided with two other vehicles. Emergency services responded swiftly, with additional ambulances dispatched to assist.
According to ALS Paramedics, twelve children sustained various injuries and were stabilised at the scene before being transported to multiple Durban hospitals for further medical care.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
