Alternative Route:
Motorists should continue on the N3 Eastbound towards the Sherwood Interchange, take the off-ramp, turn right onto Jan Smuts Highway (M13), then rejoin the N3 Eastbound. From there, they can take the off-ramp to the N2 Southbound towards Amanzimtoti.
SANRAL assures that the rest of the EB Cloete Interchange will remain open, with full traffic management measures in place, including signage, barriers, and traffic-calming measures.
Truck operators are advised to delay trips or use staging areas to reduce congestion. Public transport operators should inform drivers of the closures, while emergency services and light vehicles are encouraged to use alternative routes.
