The girlfriend of Darryn Wilken, the man arrested on multiple charges related to child pornography, has been taken into custody. The 25-year-old woman, a professional web designer, faces charges that include possession of child pornography and money laundering, mirroring the charges against her partner.
Wilken, who was arrested recently, was found with a staggering 10 million images of child pornography. Authorities also seized over half a million rand from his property. He appeared at the Randburg Magistrate's Court on Monday, facing charges of possession and distribution of child pornography, drug possession, money laundering, and fraud.
His girlfriend is scheduled to make her first court appearance on Monday.
