Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema is set to deliver the party’s political report today at the Johannesburg Expo Centre in Nasrec. This marks the commencement of the EFF's third National People’s Assembly, where over 2,000 party delegates will gather to elect the organization's top six leaders.
The Assembly serves as a pivotal moment for the party to outline its strategic direction and affirm its adherence to internal processes.
EFF Secretary-General Marshall Dlamini confirmed that Malema would preside over the official program, which begins with the adoption of party credentials.
“This will set the tone of the Assembly and outline our strategic priorities,” Dlamini explained. “Following the President’s opening address, we will present and adopt the rules, guidelines, and procedures for the People’s Assembly. We will also ensure the legitimacy of the event by adopting the credentials in line with the party’s guidelines and constitution.”
The National People’s Assembly is a key event for the EFF, charting the future path for the party as it solidifies its leadership and policies.
