The trial of alleged underworld gang bosses Jerome "Donkie" Booysen, André Naude, and several others is set to resume in the High Court in Cape Town today.

Last week, Naude was unable to attend proceedings due to hospitalization. Earlier this month, the trial had been delayed after one of the accused, Mark Lifman, was murdered outside the Garden Route Mall in George.

Additionally, the court was informed that the key witness, known as "Mr. X," has been temporarily deemed unfit to testify.

The accused face multiple serious charges, including murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and money laundering.
