More than 200 residents have been left homeless after a fire devastated the Taiwan Informal Settlement in Khayelitsha, destroying nearly 60 structures on Sunday night.
The humanitarian organization Gift of the Givers has stepped in to assist the victims of the disaster, providing support and resources to those affected.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the blaze, as the community begins to recover from this tragic incident.
