A 40-year-old man is scheduled to appear in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, alongside an alleged gang boss, in connection with the murder of Wendy Kloppers, a City of Cape Town official.
Kloppers was shot and killed at the Delft Symphony Way housing project in February last year. Another woman on-site was also shot and wounded.
Murder suspect Warren-Lee Dennis surrendered to the police earlier this week. He is charged with murder, attempted murder, and illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Kloppers’ murder is believed to be connected to the construction mafia in the Western Cape.
