Pop superstar Rihanna’s home in Los Angeles was struck by gunfire on Sunday afternoon after a woman allegedly opened fire on the property while the singer was reportedly inside.
According to police and local media reports, the incident occurred shortly after 1pm in the Beverly Hills area when the suspect fired multiple rounds from a vehicle parked across the street from the mansion. Authorities say about 10 shots were discharged during the attack.
At least one bullet reportedly pierced a wall of the residence, where Rihanna lives with her partner A$AP Rocky and their children. No injuries were reported, and the singer was unharmed during the incident.
Police say the suspect, a woman believed to be in her 30s, fled the scene but was arrested a short time later without incident. Officers also recovered a weapon during the arrest.
Investigators are still working to determine the motive behind the shooting. Rihanna has not yet publicly commented on the incident.
Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing.
