A Durban family is offering a R100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the murder of Xolani Chili. Chili was shot dead in February in New Germany while on his way home from work.

KwaZulu-Natal police confirm that the Pinetown SAPS is actively investigating the case. Despite ongoing efforts, Chili's family remains without answers and is seeking justice for the husband and father of three.

Private investigator Brad Nathanson, the family spokesperson, described Chili as having a vibrant personality that made his death an enormous shock. "The impact on the family has been profound, and many lives have been affected by Xolani's passing. It is a very sad situation."

Nathanson stated that the reward is being offered for information that could lead to the identification and arrest of the murderer or murderers. He encouraged anyone with information, even if it is only a suspicion, to come forward anonymously. "We have our own theories about how and why Xolani was killed, but we need concrete evidence to move forward," he added.
