Gauteng police have launched a manhunt for two suspects following the fatal shooting of a 53-year-old scholar transport driver in Westbury on Monday.
According to police, the driver had just dropped off school pupils and was preparing to park at a residential flat when two men approached him.
The suspects allegedly opened fire, striking the man multiple times.
He was declared dead at the scene.
Following the shooting, the suspects reportedly fled in a blue Volkswagen Polo.
Police have not yet established a motive for the killing.
Sophiatown police have opened a murder investigation, while detectives continue to search for the two suspects.
Authorities are appealing to anyone with information that could assist in identifying or locating the suspects to come forward.
