One lane of the R81 has been closed following a head-on collision involving two trucks outside Solomondale township, east of Polokwane.
The Limpopo Department of Transport confirmed that traffic officers and emergency services are currently on the scene attending to the incident.
Department spokesperson Mashudu Mabata urged motorists to exercise caution while travelling through the area, warning of possible delays and congestion.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the extent of injuries or the cause of the collision. Investigations are ongoing.
