A 75-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man have been released on bail after surrendering themselves to the Hawks in Secunda, Mpumalanga.
Wilhemina Jacoba and Phakamani Hlongwane are alleged to be connected to Pieter Grober and his family, who were previously arrested for distributing expired and rotten food intended for human consumption.
The pair now join the Grober family in facing charges that include contravention of food safety laws, corruption and fraud.
All accused are expected to return to court in February next year as the case continues.
