Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana has criticized members of the Government of National Unity (GNU) who voted against the 2025 budget despite being part of its implementation.
The Democratic Alliance (DA), which opposed the budget, has announced plans to challenge its approval, raising concerns about the stability of the GNU.
Godongwana expressed his frustration, stating, "I don’t think you can vote against the budget but still want to be part of its implementation. It’s not right."
With divisions emerging within the coalition, questions linger over the GNU’s future.
