In a tragic discovery, the lifeless body of a female baby was found in a packet in Hammonds Farm, Waterloo, KZN. Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) was on the scene as of 11:57 AM yesterday.
The body was discovered by a man collecting scrap in the area. He initially thought he had come across meat in a black refuse bag, but upon closer examination, he found the deceased infant. Alongside the baby, a blood-stained t-shirt, diapers, and toilet paper were also recovered from the bag.
The baby’s umbilical cord and placenta were still attached. The incident is under investigation as authorities seek to determine the circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking case.
