Parliament has canceled all travel arrangements and accommodation bookings for MK party members for its first sitting.

This decision follows the party's announcement that it will boycott the session.

The uMkhonto weSizwe party seeks to halt the first sitting, citing unresolved irregularities in the recent elections.

Despite securing 58 seats, the party argues that the elections were neither free nor fair.

Parliament stated that the cancellation of the party's flights and accommodations is to avoid unnecessary and wasteful expenditure.

The parliamentary administration is currently organizing travel arrangements for all incoming MPs.
