The Department of Transport states it is on schedule to provide new driver’s license cards and printing equipment for the country, despite facing challenges in securing a suitable service provider.
Department spokesperson Collin Msibi has requested public patience.
“We can confirm that we have received five bids from various bidders. With the evaluation and adjudication of these bids complete, the department is now awaiting the finalization of the audit process.”
