Operations are set to resume on Friday at Sibanye-Stillwater's Kwezi Shaft in Rustenburg after over 200 miners staged an underground sit-in on Monday. Their demand to be included in the mine's share scheme went unmet, leading to their resurfacing by Wednesday. Some miners have criticized AMCU for not supporting them, while the mine clarified that the workers do not currently qualify for the share scheme. The mine also warned of disciplinary action against those who do not return to work.
