Jabulani Khumalo, founder of the uMkhonto we Sizwe (MK) party, has urged the Electoral Commission (IEC) to promptly remove Jacob Zuma as the party's representative.

In a letter dated May 5, 2024, addressed to Zuma, Khumalo also placed him on precautionary suspension, citing actions detrimental to the party's reputation. Khumalo's letter follows his expulsion from the MK Party last week, along with four other party members.

The party has labelled those suspended as rogue elements.
