Police in the Western Cape have initiated a manhunt after the death of a 16-year-old Grade 11 pupil.
Zamawushe Momoti was struck by a stray bullet on Friday during a gang shootout in Athlone.
She died on the grounds of Belgravia High School while seeking cover. Her grieving family is demanding justice for the teen, describing her as a sweet and loving child.
Authorities say they are investigating the incident, and no arrests have been made yet.
