Arsenal have been confirmed as Premier League champions after Manchester City were held to a draw by AFC Bournemouth, sealing the London club’s first league title in 22 years and their first since the era of Arsène Wenger’s “Invincibles”.

The triumph marks a defining moment for Arsenal, while elsewhere at the bottom of the table, Tottenham Hotspur’s relegation battle has gone to the final day following their defeat to Chelsea. West Ham United could still drag Spurs into further danger depending on final results.

Celebrations erupted at Arsenal’s training ground as players gathered to watch events unfold at the Vitality Stadium. Former manager Arsène Wenger delivered an emotional message via the club’s social media channels, telling the squad: “You did it! Champions go on when others stop. This is your time. Now, go on and enjoy every moment.”

At Bournemouth, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola had warned fatigue could prove decisive against an in-form side chasing European qualification. The hosts struck first through Eli Junior Kroupi, who curled home in the 39th minute to set a new record for a teenage debut season.

City pushed late into stoppage time, with Erling Haaland finally levelling deep into added time, but it was not enough to revive their title challenge. Frustrated City supporters were heard chanting “One more year, Guardiola” in a plea for the manager to remain at the club.

Bournemouth’s draw extended their unbeaten league run to 17 matches and secured European football for the first time in their history under manager Andoni Iraola. For City, it marks a rare consecutive-season title failure under Guardiola, following their previous dominance.

Arsenal are set to be formally presented with the trophy after their final match against Crystal Palace. Attention now turns to a potential historic double, as Mikel Arteta’s side prepare for the UEFA Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain later this month.
