Rockstar Games appears to be ramping up its marketing campaign for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6, following the release of an extended gameplay presentation last week.

Instead of revealing more footage from the stories of protagonists Jason and Lucia, Rockstar has released a large collection of new screenshots offering fans a closer look at the game’s world, characters and activities across Vice City.

The images showcase a wide range of scenes, including robberies, vehicle explosions, off-road gatherings and nightlife moments involving the game’s characters.

Rockstar has published a dedicated collection featuring 99 GTA 6 screenshots, with at least three reportedly being completely new images. Several of the remaining screenshots are also being made available in higher quality, giving fans a better look at the upcoming title.

The latest screenshots arrive after Rockstar released a 27-minute extended gameplay presentation, which provided one of the most detailed looks yet at GTA 6.

There are also signs that the developer could be preparing for a major marketing push. Reports suggest Rockstar has been in discussions with officials in Florida about promotional activities that could potentially transform parts of Miami into a real-world representation of Vice City.

Adding to the speculation, social media users have noticed what appears to be a GTA 6 pre-order tab appearing in GTA Online, further fuelling excitement among fans.

The renewed activity comes after years of anticipation and several delays to the game's release.

With Rockstar now releasing new screenshots and reportedly preparing additional promotional activity, excitement surrounding GTA 6 is reaching new levels as fans await its launch.

For many players, the latest developments are also providing renewed confidence that the game's current release window will hold after years of uncertainty.
