Three people have been shot and killed in a shooting incident in Mitchells Plain on the Cape Flats, while a teenager was wounded.
According to Western Cape police spokesperson Andre Traut, the shooting occurred at a house in Rocklands.
Preliminary investigations indicate that three masked men entered the residence and opened fire on the occupants before fleeing the scene.
Traut said the motive is believed to be gang-related and remains part of an ongoing investigation.
The case is currently being investigated by the SAPS Anti-Gang Unit, and no arrests have been made at this stage.
