An uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MK Party) organiser has been shot and killed at his home in Umzumbe on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast.
Lastborn Shazi was reportedly killed on Monday night.
In a statement, the MK Party in KwaZulu-Natal has called on the Provincial Killings Task Team to urgently investigate the incident.
The party has urged police to establish the circumstances surrounding the shooting and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.
It described Shazi's death as a devastating loss to the organisation, his family and the community he served.
