The home of an ActionSA councillor candidate in the Ramotshere Moiloa Local Municipality, near Zeerust in the North West, has been destroyed in a fire.
The party says the cause of the blaze is still unknown.
ActionSA has called on the police to launch a thorough investigation into the incident to establish the circumstances surrounding the fire.
The party's deputy president, Mbahare Kekana, is expected to visit the area on Monday.
