A fifth woman’s body has been discovered in the Kempton Park area, raising further concern as police investigate a series of deaths involving women in the vicinity.

The body was found on Monday, following the discovery of the bodies of four other women in the Kempton Park area over the past two months.

Police are expected to attend the scene as investigations into the latest death get underway.

The identity of the woman and the circumstances surrounding her death have not yet been confirmed.

The latest discovery comes as authorities continue their search for missing jogger Elizabeth “Tsontso” Moselakgomo, who disappeared last week after leaving her home for an afternoon run.

Her disappearance has heightened concerns among residents, with search efforts for the missing woman continuing.

The South African Police Service’s national multidisciplinary team is also expected to meet on Monday as authorities work to address the recent cases and intensify efforts to locate Moselakgomo.

Police have yet to confirm whether the latest death is linked to the other cases involving women in the area.

Further details are expected as investigations continue.
