A motorcyclist has died following a collision involving a bakkie on Ballito Drive in Ballito.
IPSS Medical Rescue responded to reports of the crash and arrived at the scene to find that the motorcycle and bakkie had collided.
Paramedics assessed the motorcyclist and found that he had sustained extensive traumatic injuries. He was declared dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
The scene was handed over to the South African Police Service (SAPS), who will investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision and determine its cause.
Authorities have urged motorists to exercise caution and remain vigilant on the roads.
Condolences have been extended to the family and friends of the deceased.
