Alleged political fixer Brown Mogotsi has denied all charges against him during proceedings at the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court.
Mogotsi described the charges as unfounded and speculative as he continued with his bail application following his arrest nearly two weeks ago.
He is facing charges of unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, discharging a firearm in a built-up area, defeating the ends of justice, and perjury.
The charges stem from allegations that Mogotsi staged an attempted hit on his own life in November last year.
During court proceedings, Mogotsi told the court that he could afford bail of R10,000.
The matter has been postponed as the bail application continues.
