The Pretoria North Magistrate’s Court has postponed the case against suspended police sergeant Fannie Nkosi to July 22.
Nkosi faces charges of theft, defeating the ends of justice and unlawful possession of explosives.
He was arrested following a police raid at his Pretoria North home last month, where officers allegedly discovered a stun grenade, ammunition, firearms, R50 000 in cash and several police dockets linked to serious and violent crimes.
The National Prosecuting Authority requested the postponement to allow for the centralisation of this matter with a separate dagga possession case in Thohoyandou, Limpopo.
Nkosi’s legal representative has since withdrawn from the case.
He remains in custody pending his next court appearance.
