A protest is expected to take place in the Pinetown area on concerns over high municipal tariffs and calls for the removal of undocumented foreign nationals.
The demonstration is scheduled to begin at the UKZN Edgewood Campus before moving through designated routes and concluding at Pinetown Park.
Security will be heightened along the protest route, with personnel from law enforcement agencies and Marshall Security expected to be deployed to monitor activity and maintain public order.
Motorists and residents in surrounding areas have been advised to anticipate possible traffic disruptions and to plan their travel accordingly as the demonstration gets under way.
