Two brothers accused in the murders of rapper Kiernan Forbes and his friend Tebello Motsoane are expected to appear in the Durban Magistrate’s Court.
Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande are set to return to court, where proceedings will focus on the finalisation of their indictment. The pair have previously abandoned their bail applications on two separate occasions.
The court is expected to transfer the matter to the High Court, where the brothers will stand trial alongside five other co-accused.
They face multiple charges, including double murder, conspiracy to commit murder and attempted murder.
Forbes and Motsoane were gunned down in February 2023 outside a restaurant on Florida Road in Durban, in a high-profile case that shocked the country.
Once transferred, the case is expected to proceed to trial in the High Court.
