Five women arrested for drug trafficking at OR Tambo International Airport appeared in court on Tuesday following a major drug bust.
The suspects were arrested on Saturday after police allegedly discovered drugs worth more than R5 million concealed in their shoes, underwear, and private parts. Authorities say the women were en route to China via Dubai.
The accused will face separate charges, as they were apprehended at different times.
The matter has been postponed to 8 and 9 April for formal bail applications. The first three accused are scheduled to appear on 8 April, while the remaining two will appear on 9 April.
