Tsakane Matlala, the wife of businessman Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala, has laid a criminal complaint against actress and media personality Tebogo Thobejane.
Matlala accuses Thobejane of cyberbullying, defamation, intimidation and online harassment.
According to Matlala, Thobejane has repeatedly followed and monitored her during court appearances related to the case involving her husband.
In several social media posts, Thobejane allegedly referred to Tsakane Matlala as a “killer” and described Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala as a “nkabi”, a term commonly used to refer to a hitman.
Thobejane has also claimed that Matlala was pleased when her husband allegedly arranged a hit on her life.
Thobejane was previously romantically involved with Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala. He is currently behind bars facing several charges, including the attempted murder of the actress.
