The man accused of murdering popular DJ Warrick Stock, known professionally as DJ Warras, has been denied bail by the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court.
Victor Majola will remain in custody until 11 February when he is expected to return to court.
Majola faces multiple charges, including murder, conspiracy to commit murder and premeditated murder.
DJ Warras was shot dead outside the Zambezi Building in Johannesburg in December, in a killing that sent shockwaves through the music and entertainment community.
The court ruled that Majola should remain behind bars as investigations continue, citing the seriousness of the charges and the interests of justice.
The case has been postponed to allow the state to finalise its investigations.
