The case against Tebogo Mnisi, arrested in connection with the murder of two young women in Mamelodi, east of Pretoria, has been postponed to 19 March 2026 at the Mamelodi Magistrate’s Court.
The victims, 22-year-old Tshiyamo Moramaga and her 21-year-old cousin Boleseng Moramaga, were fatally shot in October last year after a night out. Their bodies were discovered next to a road in Mamelodi East Extension 17, bearing multiple gunshot wounds. A third person was wounded in the attack and taken to a local healthcare facility.
Mnisi, 38, made a brief appearance in court on Monday morning before proceedings were postponed to allow for further investigations. The State indicated that they are still awaiting hospital records and postmortem results.
He faces five charges, including two counts of premeditated murder, attempted murder, and possession of an illegal firearm and ammunition.
Mnisi will remain in custody until his next court appearance, having previously abandoned his bail application.
