The Divisional Commissioner for Detective and Forensic Services, General Khosi Senthumule, is scheduled to testify before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry in Pretoria on Friday morning.

Senthumule has been implicated in the ongoing political killings task team docket saga, which the commission is investigating as part of its wider probe into alleged police interference, corruption, and links to criminal networks.

The commission began its public hearings in September and has so far heard testimony from several high-ranking officials, including KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lieutenant-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, National Police Commissioner General Fannie Masemola, Intelligence Head General Dumisani Khumalo, and individuals accused of aiding criminal syndicates.

Meanwhile, the first report from the commission is expected to be released by 17 December 2025. With a six-month deadline to complete its work, a second report is anticipated in March next year.
