A 38-year-old man has been arrested following a fatal shooting at a pub in Margate on the south coast. The victim, a 54-year-old man, was shot multiple times during an apparent bar fight at the Shelley Beach establishment on Wednesday night.
KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service spokesperson, Craig Botha, confirmed that the victim succumbed to his injuries before paramedics could reach the scene.
Port Shepstone police are investigating the incident, and the suspect is set to appear in court soon. The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.
