Durban: The South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL) has announced a series of temporary road closures on the N2 highway to facilitate the removal of bridge beams for the King Cetshwayo (M13) Bridge construction. These closures are part of a major upgrade to ease traffic congestion on the N2 and at the EB Cloete Interchange.

- N2 Northbound
- Sunday, 24 November 2024, 20:00 – Monday, 25 November 2024, 04:00

Closure Details:
- Southbound Closures:
- No access to N2 South from Umgeni Road (M19) and Inanda Road Interchanges.
- N2 Northbound and M19 remain open.
- Northbound Closures:
- Ramps from N3 (eastbound and westbound) to N2 North are closed.
- N2 Northbound between EB Cloete Interchange and Umgeni Interchange will be inaccessible.
- Only access to N3 East or Westbound will be available at EB Cloete.
