The Randburg Magistrate’s Court has issued an arrest warrant for Longwe Twala, son of music producer Chicco Twala, after he failed to appear in court.
Longwe’s arrest last month followed a housebreaking and robbery case filed by his father. While charges against his brother, Sello, were dropped due to insufficient evidence, Longwe has been out on a warning with specific conditions. He was required to abstain from drugs and alcohol for the trial’s duration and was expected to attend court today as part of his release terms.
Authorities are now moving forward with the arrest warrant due to his absence.
