Collaborative efforts are essential for tackling violent crime in the Western Cape, according to Patriotic Alliance leader, Gayton McKenzie.

Speaking with JJ Tabane on "Power to Truth" during a town hall debate in Hanover Park, McKenzie emphasized the role of police, parents, and government officials. "They receive R4-billion annually; what is being done with that money? And those stipends?" he questioned.

"Our people are suffering. When you incarcerate these gangsters, they still manage to have access to phones," he noted.

McKenzie advised, "Minister, my recommendation is that anyone arrested should be completely cut off from external contact, as they are issuing orders to eliminate witnesses in the province, which silences potential testimonies."
